Welcome to Country Canine. we are located just minutes from beautiful Thornbury, Ontario.  We are also conveniently located close to Blue Mountain Resort and Collingwood, Ontario. Our kennel is just across the garden from the house so we are close by and can be with the dogs all day long.  We start early and our days end late so your dog has a schedule more like when he is at home with you.

 All dogs receive a minimum of 5 outings of playtime and cuddles so they feel more at home. We will discuss your dog’s needs and preferences with you so each dog has a schedule that will make you and him happy and comfortable.    We have a 32 acre playground to walk and explore so your dog will have new and varied experiences here with us.

Longer walks are also available daily: 

	for the real go getter we have a 10 km walk that winds down, around and up some quiet country roads in our area.
	for those who love to walk (but maybe not 10 km), we have a 6.5 km walk that winds through some of those same country roads.
	for those who need a little less, we have a 3 km walk with beautiful country and river views
	last, but not least, we have the “buttercup walk” for puppies, older dogs and those who are not real nature lovers

If your dog prefers to be brushed, cuddled or to play ball, we can also spend time with him that way.

It is essential that you bring your own food.  Upset stomachs because of a food change can lead to extreme diarrhea and life threatening problems.  We also require your vaccinations are up to date and include kennel cough. Please bring your vaccination certificates with you.

Dogs are put out for play and excercise according to personality - not size. This makes for some awesome photos that we are more than happy to pass to you.
